Zoella-Tuttie-Frutti-pic_810x540

Hello Lovely Readers!

Zoe Sugg (Vlogger, Youtuber, Author etc etc) launched her Zoella beauty range in September 2014 breaking sales records at Superdrug with products selling out on the first day.  She then launched her new Tutti Fruity range in July 2015 and this broke sales records from the previous year.  Even so I had never bought into the hype and hadn’t tried any of her products.  Maybe it was time to give them a go.

I really wanted to try the Bath Bombinis but they were out of stock online and Superdrug stated they didn’t know if or when they would be getting them back in stock so instead I went for one of the Tutti Fruity products – The Fresh Fizz Fragranced Bath Fizzer.  The packaging is super cute and inside you get a white bar which you can break into four.  Judging by the colour of the fizzer I didn’t think it was going to do amazing things to the water colour and I wasn’t wrong.  It doesn’t really change the colour at all, it just fizzes nicely at the bottom of the tub and emits a lovely fragrance (very sweet as you can imagine).

I would buy this again as it smelt so nice and it was very pleasant to relax in the bath with it.  Also at £5.00 from Superdrug it’s pretty reasonably priced.  For Zoe’s next range though I would love to see some colourful bath items that I can lust over – maybe some bubble bars or even her own range of bath bombs.

The Friday Review

Hello Lovely Readers!

You can’t miss Lottie London’s bright and colourful packaging, it’s made to stand out and it does it’s job well.  Originally exclusive to Superdrug, it’s now also available from Asos.  With a range including brushes, nail polishes & accessories and most products under £10 they are exactly my kind of brand so I decided to give them a try.

The Balm Balls really caught my eye as they have similar packaging to the Eos balms.  I picked up two in Strawberry Shortcake and Caramel Apple.  There is also a third fragrance available in Cherry Pie.

005

Having tested out both I have to say my personal favourite is the Strawberry Shortcake purely because I found the fragrance of the Caramel Apple a little too sweet.  I would apply this in the morning and a few hours later my lips would still feel dewy and nicely moisturized.  Even after eating my lips still retained their softness  and didn’t feel dry at all.  The fact that the packaging is so adorably cute just encourages me to use them even more.  It’s also great to pop in my handbag and easy to find in there due to the shape (I carry a lot in my bag – Mary Poppins eat your heart out!)

The Lottie London Balm Balls in Strawberry Shortcake, Caramel Apple and Cherry Pie are available from Superdrug for £4.99 each.

Hello Lovely Readers!

Welcome to Dupe Day, the day when I bring you a Drugstore dupe for a high end product.  Today I have the Sleek Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette featuring a contour powder, a highlighter and a blush.  As you can see from the swatches these are gorgeous shades.  I got the palette in fair as I am quite porcelain (I prefer that to pale!) in skin colour.  This palette is available from Superdrug for £9.99 and I think it’s a great dupe for…..

Urban_Decay_Strip_Naked_Flushed_Compact_1401452221

The Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette.  This features incredibly similar colours to the Sleek palette and again has a highlighter, blush and this time a bronzer (although you could use that to contour with).  The Naked Flushed is available from Urban Decay for £22.50.
